Assisting teachers in creating or adapting instructional materials that are accessible and engaging for multilingual students with varying language proficiencies.

Classroom Support

Offering in-class support, co-teaching, or modeling effective instructional strategies for working with multilingual learners.

Strategies for Engagement

Sharing techniques and activities to actively engage multilingual students in learning, fostering their participation and sense of belonging.

Curriculum Adaptation

Collaborating with teachers to modify and differentiate the curriculum to meet the linguistic and academic needs of multilingual students.

Assessment Guidance

Providing support in selecting, administering, and interpreting assessments appropriate for multilingual learners, as well as using assessment data to inform instruction.

Assisting in the design, implementation, and evaluation of programs and services for multilingual learners across the school or district.  

Policy Guidance

Providing expertise on best practices and legal requirements related to the education of multilingual students to inform school and district policies.

Strategic Planning

Collaborating with leadership teams to develop and implement strategic plans that address the needs of multilingual learners and promote equitable outcomes.  

Professional Development
Planning

Designing comprehensive professional learning plans for all staff members who work with multilingual students.

Resource Allocation

Advising on the effective allocation of resources, including personnel, materials, and funding, to support multilingual learners.

Communication and
Collaboration

Facilitating communication and collaboration between teachers, support staff, parents, and the community regarding the education of multilingual learners.

Building Capacity

Working with school and district leaders to build internal capacity and expertise in supporting multilingual learners for long-term sustainability.

Data Analysis

Helping administrators analyze data related to multilingual student achievement and program effectiveness to inform decision-making and resource allocation.  

Equity Audit

Conducting reviews of school and district practices to identify and address inequities affecting multilingual students.

Structure of Services

½ day (3 hours) or full day (6 hours) professional learning for mid-size (5-25 people) or large (26-45 people)

  • Individual or small group (1-4 people) workshops

  • Consulting hours or On-Demand contracts to use Envisage as a supportive resource

  • Project planning and/or implementation oversight
